Every one of these is believed because of who supplied it, and none of them can be checked by the person deciding whether the coverage reaches their case.

Coverage stated as a round number, in a sentence that never says which things are not in it.

A sample chosen by the party being evaluated, which is a statement about their choosing and not about their corpus.

What is missing is the thing nobody publishes, because publishing it is the only part that costs something.

What oddly puts on the record

The same thing, with its edge drawn.

Placed plus unplaced equals every distinct subject the ledger holds. That is an arithmetic identity rather than a promise, and it is computed in one place so the two halves can never disagree.

Drawn only where a live read put a real subject, at a seat from committed geometry. A place with nothing observed in it draws nothing.

unplaced

Counted and named by class. Most of this corpus is here, and printing it is the difference between a map and an advertisement.

no coordinate

The response carries counts and never a latitude. A coordinate in a response would be a measurement nobody in this estate made.

Read the source as it is published, and write down both clocks.

seal

Hash the row with its predecessor, so no receipt can move without every later one changing.

Fold the day's receipts into one root and put it where anyone can read it.

Submit the root to a chain we do not run. From then on, checking us does not involve us.
