What do baby toys products cost by market?
Median baby toys prices differ by market: US$29.59 in Australia, US$21.84 in Canada, US$22.80 in Germany, and 7 more markets below. Each market's figure is a separate observed distribution, stated in the currency it was observed in.
This answer is measured, not estimated. It is the middle of a distribution of prices observed on public storefronts, and the number of observations behind it is stated above so the figure can be judged as well as quoted.

Cite one figure, not the whole page
Each figure above has its own address and its own content hash. The address is built from what the figure measures, so it does not move when the number does: a link you save today still points at the same claim after the next crawl. The hash covers what the figure currently says, so it does change. Keep both and you can tell the difference between a quote that is still current and one that is not.

Recursively sort every object key (arrays keep their order), JSON.stringify the claim, sha256 it, and compare the lowercase hex to content_hash. The canonical form of every claim on this page, with its hash, is published in the page source for that purpose. content_hash is tamper-evident over the canonical claim bytes: it proves this claim was not altered, never who produced it. It is also not currency: a claim can be intact and no longer current, so read observed_at.
How these numbers were produced
- They are observed public storefront data. oddly reads publicly visible storefronts and aggregates what is published there: product prices, catalog size, market and currency. They are not first-party merchant data, they are not survey data, and no figure here is estimated.
- Every figure rests on at least 8 observations. A cell below that floor is withheld rather than shown thin, and each figure states the number of observations behind it. That floor counts OBSERVATIONS, which is the honest unit for public data; the tighter contributor floor applies to opted-in first-party cohorts, which no figure on this page uses.
- Prices are medians and quartiles of observed distributions, never averages of averages. Two markets are never pooled into one number, and every amount states its currency.
- Each figure carries the date it was observed. When a category is crawled again, the newer observation replaces the older one on the page rather than sitting beside it.
- A sample floor is not a sanity check, so two further rules apply. A cell reporting no spread at all is not a distribution and is withheld. A market or product figure that disagrees with its own category by more than a factor of 10 is withheld pending review, because at that distance it is a measurement fault rather than a real difference. Across the whole layer 23 figures are currently withheld on those two rules, and 0 for resting below the floor. Nothing is ever adjusted to fit.
